Listen with AirPods
When you remove AirPods from the casing, Airpods turns on and is ready for use. When you put it in your ear, AirPods automatically plays audio from your device. If you disconnect an AirPod, the audio is paused. Release both and audio will stop.

Follow these steps when using AirPods to play audio from another device or switch audio to other headphones or speakers.

On iOS devices
Go to Control Center.
Long press or touch and hold the audio card in the upper right corner of the Control Center to control the audio.
Tap, then select the device you want from the list. *
On Mac
Click on the menu bar and select AirPods * or other speakers under Output Tool.* AirPods are only shown if the position is close and ready to use.

Double tap to control your device
When using an AirPod, two short, fast taps on the outside of the AirPod will answer the phone or disconnect the phone. Each AirPod can also do one of the following:

Enable Siri *
