 If you subscribe to Apple Music, you can add songs, albums, playlists, shows and movies to the Library from anywhere on Apple Music. You can also download the content so that it can be heard or watched when not connected to the internet.




Before adding or downloading content, make sure it's been a while.

When you add content to the Library, you can access it on all other devices, as long as it's signed in to all devices with the same Apple ID.

You can also download content to your iOS device or computer so you can listen or watch when you're not connected to the Internet. You must download content on every device you want to use offline.

There is no charge to add or download content. Learn more about Apple Music and how to join. If you do not subscribe to Apple Music or want to buy a separate song or album, you can buy it from the iTunes Store app or in iTunes on a Mac or PC.

How to add a song or album to
In the Music app on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch; in iTunes on a Mac or PC; or in the Apple Music app on your Android phone, go To For You, Search, or Search to see songs and albums available with Apple Music. If you find a song or album you want to add to the Library, follow these steps:

On iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Android phone, tap the pink plus icon on iOS to add a song or tap to add an entire album.
On a Mac or PC, click the blue add icon in iTunes to add a song or click to add an entire album.
In Apple Watch Series 3, when listening to Radio, tap to add songs currently playing.
After that, you can search for songs and albums in the Library.

On iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Android phone, you can then find the playlist in Library> Playlists. On a Mac or PC, you can search for playlists in the Library's side bar on the Apple Music Playlist.

If you want to add songs one by one from a playlist to the Library, see the playlist, then tap or click the blue-plus icon in iTunes next to the song you want to add.



How to add events and movies to Library
In the Music app on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch; in iTunes on a Mac or PC; or in the Apple Music app on your Android phone, go To For You, Search, or Search to see shows and movies available with Apple Music. If you find an event or movie you want to add to the Library, follow these steps:

On an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or an Android phone, tap.
On a Mac or PC, click.
After that, you can find shows and movies under Libraries on iOS devices or Android phones. On a Mac or PC, you can find shows and movies in the left bar on the Library window.



How to download content to listen offline
In order to download content for offline listening, you must add it to the Library. After that, in the Music app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch; on iTunes on Mac or PC; or in the Apple Music app on your Android phone, find the item you want to download, then follow these steps:

On iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Android phone: Tap Download.
On a Mac or PC: Click Download.
You will see after the download is complete.

If Auto Download is enabled, content will be automatically downloaded to device or computer when added to Library. You will not see or.

Use the Watch app on your iPhone to add music to Apple Watch.

You can download content up to 10 devices. This content is only accessible when your Apple Music subscription is active.

If you want to download content automatically
Messages that ask if you want to download content automatically appear when you first download music to your device.

Tap Download Automatically to automatically download all content to your device. If at any time you add an item to the Library, the music will automatically be downloaded to your device.
Tap No Now to download the item later.
